The Kama Sutra Girl: She’s back!

Lately I’ve begun to feel so good, more like my old self again.   And I was:  The Kama Sutra Girl!   Yes!

Break for a Public Service Announcement:  For those of you living in foreign lands and searching “Kama Sutra,” do please feel free to abandon hope now as the content will be pretty much PG, and I don’t mean “pregnant” with anything.   And, sadly, no pictures!

Residual Readers:  Here is how I became the Kama Sutra Girl. 

It was during those rare times when I’d get a blessed hour off from my small children.  Tsk — I know!  Sometimes I’d go to the bookstore alone and sit cross-legged in the s*x books aisle.  Oh, this was not for instructional purposes as the instruction made me sleepy.   But it was entertaining. 

Among the many colorful selections, my favorite book ended up being the regular Kama Sutra with the simple pen and ink illustrations.  Again, not for instructional purposes – too much work — but because I was completely enamored of the expressions on their faces!

Wait, you say, their faces are exactly the same in every illustration!  They are pasted-on same-faces!  Not to me.  There are subtle differences on each page.  

Truly, I had no idea from looking at the dude’s face what he was thinking, but I believed I could imagine what the girl was thinking at every turn.   What I liked about her was:  She looks completely comfortable, endlessly delighted by whatever’s going on (heh), and glad to be herself.   Then I realized, I am the Kama Sutra Girl!   And now, once again.

And if there’s ever a sanity hearing and this writing becomes Exhibit A, well, my rascally cat wrote this.   AND ON INDEPENDENCE DAY, TOO!   Cats . . .
